Longwood to Lakeshore Project

Welcome to the Longwood to Lakeshore Line Project Map

Hydro One is completing a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Longwood to Lakeshore Project for two new single-circuit 500 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines between the Longwood Transformer Station (TS) in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the Lakeshore TS in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

Through engagement with Indigenous communities, property owners, community members, elected officials, interest groups and businesses, we have gained valuable insights about unique property characteristics and natural features in the area. This input was considered in our evaluation of route alternatives alongside environmental and technical information which led us to select Route 3B as the preferred route for the new transmission lines. Please visit our website for more information about the route selection process and upcoming engagement opportunities.
